My favorite is the Sunday Lunch Buffett. The food is fresh, hot and delicious! The servers are attentive and help create a family atmosphere that make dinning a pleasure.I enjoy all the different selections offered from the one of a kind, "deep fried streak of lean" to the "best deviled eggs since my grandmothers." My thanks to YOUR family and staff for making my 60 mile round trip with family and friends, well worth the miles to dine at THE LIGHTHOUSE. City of Milner
Beware of moving to Milner from larger city
We have recently moved here to get away from the busier larger town that we lived in. The city is very quite which is great!, but a shocker was when we started receiving our utility bills. You have only one choice in power company, phone co and even in some areas cable or satellite services. I had to give up my cheap internet bill for a bill almost twice the amount I was paying before. Our power constantly goes out on our street with no logical explanation from GA power and my bill is always jumping between $170 and $300 dollars a month! I never know! Water and sewage bill is extremely high as well. Twice the amount I was paying before. Overall, I moved from Locust Grove to Milner and my utilities cost me about $280 MORE to live here. We are never at home because we work now what is about an hour away. Our home is total electric but should not cost this much for 2 people who are never here! It's never cost us this much to live in a larger home than we live in now!... more
