Everything from the first initial call, to the final touches and surprises you had in store for us, was absolutely flawless – even magical. I can’t thank you all enough for taking care of every detail and making sure our day was perfect and beautiful. You’ve touched us in a way that will live with us each and every day of our married lives together. Wade did a phenomenal job with my hair and makeup – everyone said I looked the best I’ve ever looked. Fernando was spectacular with our photos. They were so wonderful and perfect, exactly what we wanted to take home and share with our loved ones. We wish so much to have gotten back to you all sooner with how much we enjoyed our experience. Coming back from your honeymoon can unfortunately throw you back into the “real world” more quickly than sometimes expected. During the early phases of trying to figure out what to do for our wedding, a lot of ideas came up – particularly getting married in Hawaii. We had thought that might exceed what we could financially consider reasonable. After looking around on the Internet though, we fortunately came across hawaiiweddings.com and began watching the videos. You all had us hooked, wanting to know more. When we made our first phone call to you, we were so surprised at the comforting feel we got from making the arrangements with you. We were even more astounded that Captain Howie answered himself! Wedding planning can be very hectic but you made things more stress-free than we could have ever imagined.... more

Thank you for planning our Hawaiian wedding
We would like to take a little time to express our appreciation to Captain Howie and all of his gang for our fantastic Hawaiian wedding experience on May 11th, 2011 at the beautiful Angels Bay Beach. It was exactly what we were looking for and was extremely easy to arrange. Everyone there was very professional and helpful in every way. Our photographer, Fernando, captured exceptional photos at Pukalani Falls Gardens and on the beautiful white sandy beach. Brandi’s hair and makeup looked amazing too! Captain Howie’s ceremony was very meaningful. It included just the three of us, standing on the beach with soothing ocean waves crashing in the background. Our whole trip went exactly as planned. Everyone was so nice! We couldn’t have asked for a more enchanting island in paradise to get married on, and have our honeymoon there as well.... more

Mike and I had the wedding of our dreams at Above Heaven’s Gate. We live in Orlando, Florida and we could not find the setting that we were looking for until I found Above Heaven’s Gate. With all the 5-star resorts in the Orlando area, none compared to the beautiful Pukalani Falls Garden and Angels Bay Beach at Captain Howie’s. Above Heaven’s Gate provided a higher quality and a more intimate setting than any beach on the east or west coast of Florida. Trust us, we have snorkeled all the beaches in Florida. Pukalani Falls Garden was immaculate for our most intimate ceremony. Complete with a fish pond with the most beautiful koi fish, the photos are one-of-a-kind. The expert manicured grounds and the waterfall garden were so impressive. It was all that we were looking for in a garden setting.... more
