Although the paint is harder now days, I use microfiber because it has a thick soft nap that will take the dirt and dust particles away from the paint surface avoiding scratching and "swirling", which are microscopic scratches in the clear coat surface that when the light hits them at the right angle they look like spider webs all over your paint. Also make sure to use quality microfiber, not the cheap one you can find at wall-mart and target stores. these are to thin to use on the paint surface. I recommend using microfiber wash bone or mitt for washing instead of the micro fiber towels. Use the micro fiber towels for drying.
