what a wonderful place
We had our fist date there about four years ago, it has become our own private "cheers" ever since. The staff is so warm and welcoming it's like you are having a meal at your favorite Aunts house. To top it off, David carefully and with lots of love perpares amazing dishes. We always leave with happy full bellies and can't wait to come back. Always a favorite place
We wanted to share with others this "Gem" of a dining place in Burlington, IL. The food is exceptional with a wide variety of signature dishes as well as many favorites on the menu. The service and staff are extrodinary. The atmosphere is always friendly and everyone who comes recieves a warm welcome. David the chef greets his diners and always has a kind smile to give. His desserts are always something yummy and creative. Art & Alma's is our sweet spot for all of the locals in the area. The new addition of Sunday Country Breakfast is the best around town. Great Steaks, Couldn't Ask For Better Service
We both had the steak. It was very good quality, done perfectly, so tender! We were astonished at what a good steak for a very small price. It was better than most steak house and most good restaurants. The service was very friendly, prompt, and exact. We will be back many times. In fact, I was just looking up the phone number to make a reservation when I saw these reviews. Too bad people only review when they have something they don't like.... more

Terrible
I just went to this restaurant tonight and had the ribs that tasted a little old and a few things off of the soup and salad bar. I ended up getting sick on the side of the road on the way home and am still not feeling well at the moment. I think they served me spoiled food.... more
