The city of Casey is located in Clark County, Illinois, and was once a booming oil town. Major attractions include the Casey Softball Museum and the 40-acre Fairview Park, which has a swimming pool, a playground, a campground, a bandstand, a horse arena, a horseshoe pitch arena, a tractor pull, a sunken garden, a memorial garden, five shelters, picnic areas and twin ponds. Each year in September, the Popcorn Festival is held here and in June, the National Road Festival. One of the best places to visit when you are in Casey is the nearby, 1,632-acre Fox Ridge State Park, with boating, hiking, hunting, camping, picnicking, horseback riding, fishing, and the Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site.
