I think it depends on your definition of religion actually. It has been my experience that spirituality is on the rise. Many people who have had either little or no faith in their lives are turning to find a spiritual path. So in that respect I actually believe that their is an increase in power.

Power is a funny word in itself as the definition is based upon perception and context of the word. There is materialistic power, political power, and spiritual power. The power I speak of being on the increase is the spiritual power.

It has been my experience that many see religion as loosing its spiritual power as they strive for the materialistic and political power. It is my opinion that the religions who are staying in the truth of spiritual power are not losing either. They are growing in numbers and strength.
