Evergreen Park is a village in Cook County, Illinois known for its small town personality with the advantages of the city, being right next to Chicago. Evergreen Park is also known for its beautiful nature and as the Village of Churches, considering it is home to over a dozen churches. Major attractions in Evergreen Park include the Hot Rod Classic Car Show and Dickens on 95th Street Christmas Event. Each year in the summer there is an Independence Day Parade and firework display that the whole town comes out to view as a community. Among the biggest companies in Evergreen Park are the European Cars Of Evergreen Park Inc and JK Harris & Company. The biggest schools here are Evergreen Park Community High School and St. Bernadette. One of the best places to visit while in this charming village include the park located at 97th Street and Homan Avenue, which was originally the center of the town and the Evergreen Aqua Park.
