About Red Bud

Red Bud is a part of the Randolph County area of Illinois known for its agriculture and its lush natural beauty. Major attractions include Ratz Memorial City Park and Lincoln Park. Each year in the fall season there is Blossom City Autumn Fest. Among the biggest companies in Red Bud are Gateway FS Inc, and Material Works Ltd. The biggest schools here are Red Bud Elementary, Red Bud High, and the Red Bud campus of Southwestern Illinois College. One of the best places to visit when you are in Red Bud is Fogelpole Cave Nature Preserve. The nearby ghost town of Kaskaskia was Illinois's first state capital.
