Poor Experience Kayaking
Today, I set out to go kayaking at: 2K Adventure Gear in Richmond, IL. My friends and I set up reservation weeks ahead of time to ensure a trouble-free day. However, when arriving there, the gentleman operating the facilities explained to us that they had overbooked for the day (booked 17 instead of the maximum 12 kayaks that they had). Needless to say, we were out of luck for today. He offered us to share kayaks with other people, which was ridiculous and we did not sign up for. Frustrated, I asked for our money back, but he refused. Today was the only day we had available to all meet together and have a fun day. Unfortunately, this was ruined by 2K Adventure Gear's poor management and business approach. Additionally, this location was almost 2 hours away (4 hours total drive), which considering this bad experience, I would never want to return.... more

Very good. Would stay away from chicken dishes...all white meat equals less flavor and drier meat. Recommend the Beef w/ pea pods & water chestnuts and also the egg foo yung. Have seen other dishes and they look great. The service is friendly.... more

this place SUCKS!!!
OK...I wouldn't normally flame someplace...but the 'Depot Restaraunt' in Richmond has to be the WORST place i have EVER eaten at...There was Rotten milk in my Tea glass....and some kind of METAL in my frickin' hashbrowns!!!! Then the waitress--that couldn't stop bashing her childs dad-- had the balls to charge me $2.00--"because she had to ring up something".....TOTALLY DISGUSTING!!!! then the cook had the alls to tell me "i dont know what to tell you, I didnt see it and I dont wash the cups!"... more
