About Rochelle

Rochelle, known as a "Hub City" because of its location, is in Ogle County, Illinois. The Lincoln Highway, which was the first transcontinental highway to cross the U.S. and US-51, one of the first roads to go the full north-south length of the U.S. both go through Rochelle. Union Pacific's Global III Intermodal Facility is one of the biggest companies operating in the city. Other large companies that are located in the city include the Eaton Corporation, Del Monte, and Cain Millworks, Inc. The students living here are served by two different school districts and is also home to private schools such as the Saint Paul Lutheran School. There are 11 parks, 1 country club and two public swimming pools in Rochelle.
