Wet the corner of a white cloth with a small amount of the cleaner you want to use. Clip it to an unnoticeable area of the drape. After 5 minutes, remove and look for color bleeding. No color loss usually lets you know that the cleaner is mild enough to use. Vacuum drapes first and mix cleaning solution according to directions. Remember, you can do everything right but the type of fabric and kind of soiling are important factors. Consult with a local professional.
