About Xenia

The village of Xenia is located in Clay County, Illinois, named in honor of Henry Clay, a famous statesman. Major attractions within minutes of Xenia include the Copperhead Antiques Mall & Museum and the Little Toot Railroad, located in Charley Brown Memorial Park and which features a large depot, a waiting platform and a miniature train. One of the best places to visit when you are in Xenia is the nearby, 3,103-acre Stephen A. Forbes State Park, which surrounded you with shady oaks and rolling hills and with picnicking, swimming, fishing, boating, horseback riding, hunting, camping and trails.
