The town is located on Greens Fork River, a popular fishing and boating spot. Each year in May, Greens Fork celebrates during Johnny Ringo Days, a festival named after a former resident. Among the biggest companies in Greens Fork are Greens Fork Animal Hospital and Ron Brown. The only school in the area is Walnut Level School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Greens Fork is Joann's Cafe.
