Lincoln City is a part of Carter Township in Spencer County, Indiana, in the southwestern part of the state. Famous persons from Lincoln City include Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the U.S. Major attractions include Lincoln's Log Cabin Home and Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial. The National Memorial operates a Living Historical Farm which recreates the boyhood times of Abraham Lincoln. It operates from mid-April through October. Among the biggest schools here are Heritage Hills High School and Lincoln Trail Elementary School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Lincoln City is Buffalo Run, a local restaurant. Other famous residents include Jay Cutler, a quarterback for the Chicago Bears.
