About Logansport
Logansport is a part of the Cass County region/metro area of Indiana. As of the 2000 census, the city had a population of 19,350 and it has a land area of 8.3 square miles. Logansport was founded in the 1820s named after the famous James Renick-Logan, who fought in the War of 1812. Each year in the Fall season there is an annual Art of the Avenue festival and every spring there is the annual Med Flory Jazz Festival.
