About Metamora

Metamora is located in the southeast region of Indiana known for its being the only functioning Canal Town in Indiana and for its historic roots. Major attractions include the Grist Mill and the Horse-Drawn Canal Boat. Each year in November and December, enjoy the Christmas Walk in Old Metamora. Among the biggest companies in Metamora are FCN Banc Corporation and Metamora Industries Inc. The biggest schools here are Metamora Township High School and Germantown Hills Middle School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Metamora is Whitewater Valley Railroad.
