He rehung the door and replaced the interior walls in my entrance. We removed the carpet and sanded and stained the wooden floor. He was on-time, cleaned up everything and finished on schedule.... more

This place sucks
Do not live here. Exactly what the other reviews are saying is completely true. The landlord is a nosy weirdo. Always coming into our apartment with future tenants. It's so weird. Also, the rent is absolutely ridiculous. You have to pay for SEWAGE. Nothing is included. You can never find a parking spot. He purposely made the lot so there were like seven spots and then the rest of the tenants have to hope there is a spot in the parking lot across the street and down the hill. The apartment is tiny, with a ton of dead space. NEIGHBORS ACROSS THE ALLEY ARE AWFUL. Loud, annoying GDI's that do not ever leave their apartment.Also, the walls of this structure are paper thin, you can hear everything anyone else is doing, including your neighbors you don't even know. Crappy appliances (toilet, tile cracked, walls have holes, water stains in the tubs) It was like that when we moved in. Save your money. Go somewhere nice like State Street Towers or the apartments above Noodles.... more

Why did they give themselves 2 stars?
We gave ourselves 2 stars not because we don't think we are a 5 star company, but because we want to be ethical about not tampering with the reviews and ratings of our tenants. I cant say the same for others since merchantcircle.com lets business owners delete bad reviews, reset their rating, and lets them rate themselves as "anonymous". So you might want to use a different review board. Instead of ignoring our negative reviews (or deleting them) we’d like to respond to them as we have on insiderpages.com. We do require any discussion about the deposits to be in writing. And yes, we do accept email as a form of a written submission. Deposit refund complaints are a delicate issue that often results in court filings. This is why we require written documentation of related conversations. If you owed money then it probably means that you either had unpaid rent, late fees, or caused damage. Livesay makes no money off of the move-out procedures.... more
