Gardner Laundromat
New Management Has Really Done Well
I have been coming to the Gardner Laundromat for years and it was just going down hill but in August of this year (2011) new owners have taken it over and have cleaned this place up. The machines work, the place is clean and the people are friendly. The place has really turned around. (Also great prices compared to other places)... more

Handyman Services
Bad workmanship and bad service
On 9-20-11 I had home repair services performed (front storm door replaced with a new one, a window screen made to fit a bedroom window and installed, another storm door installed on the lower level to an outside door at a walk up, and an adjustment made to the hinges of my garage doors), at my home in Johnson County, by Jim Conner of Handyman Services. Jim Conner charged me $938.98 in cash and took two days to do what he promised to do in one day. I have long screws sticking out of the front storm door frame (cut finger on the hazard he created), the front and lower-level storm doors are not fitted properly, the garage door hinges were not adjusted properly, and the custom screen on the bedroom window bows in the middle and fell out of the window frame. Jim Conner does not do quality work, he is very slow in his work, and he yelled at me when I finally reached him on his cell phone after many attempts. Jim Conner will not correct my concerns.I feel completely ripped off by Jim Conner.... more
