Trails West Motel
Clean and renovated rooms
I normally dont' rate mom and pop hotels 5 stars but trails west motel did gave me a huge surprise ... it is one the cleanest and least nosiest hotel i have been to.. the beds were very comfortable... the room was exactly what was quoted on internet plus it had all the amenities of a mid level franchise.. I didn't eat the breakfast but did make coffee in my room...yes the lobby looked newer than the hotel but the rooms were also felt new from inside so if you want something nice, clean and least affordable in Hutchinson area then Trails West Motel is the way to go ! Check the videos of their website of their rooms for yourself....I did and I was glad I was able to see it myself besides reviews and make my own judgement....def will stay again with you guys !... more

Seriously?
I will never go back. The staff is beyond rude, I was completely ignored, had to ask more than once for the same thing, overpriced on too many items to even name, and did I mention that the staff was RUDE. SO RUDE! Told me a gun I know to be less than desirable was probably the best I could buy. Seems like they could give a sh** if you are even there and will do/say anything to sell you something.... more

Great place
I've been looking for a youth shotgun for some time now.I have two boys 7 & 8. Whenever I get out one of my guns they seem to come real close to peeing down thweir pants. A few weeks ago I went out with my brothers to shoot some trap.(dove season warmup) I let them shoot my rem. 1100 Way Too Big. I had my old mossburg pump that I used for geese and never seem to get to hunt them any more. So tradeing it seemed right. But the gun dealers I ran into didn't seem even have the time of day. I just happened by Heartland in Hutchinson Ks. So I went in. I can't remember the mans name who came up to talk to me about a gun but, wow, what a change. This guy was willing to look at my trade and made me an offer that I felt was more than fair. I took the gun home, cleaned it up, and the boys and I took off to shoot. We had a good safe time.
