Best way for young people to start some sort of credit history is to be added to a couple of your parents credit card accounts AS: AUTHORIZED USER, not as a joint account holder. Authorized users are added without a credit check and when added you gain the credit history of the account since the date it was opened. ONE DRAW BACK is if your parents do not have accounts that are absolutely clean, no late payments etc then you do not want on those accounts as they will hurt you not help you.

Lightyear Wireless is able to offer quality service; due to they have a partnership with Sprint & Verizon. This allows Lightyear Wireless to use their towers to give their customers (me) quality service. Also their cell plans are at a great price along with they have a Customer Referral Program where you can get free cell phone service by just sharing their service to 5 people. Your local cellular will not offer free service. They will push the two year contract on you to make sure you are stuck paying them for 24 months and longer as long as you have a cell phone.
