Best way for young people to start some sort of credit history is to be added to a couple of your parents credit card accounts AS: AUTHORIZED USER, not as a joint account holder. Authorized users are added without a credit check and when added you gain the credit history of the account since the date it was opened. ONE DRAW BACK is if your parents do not have accounts that are absolutely clean, no late payments etc then you do not want on those accounts as they will hurt you not help you.

Do not GO!
Terrible people. Takes days to get referred to a specialist and up to a month to get an appointment. They do not try and do not care. Unless something is obvious do not expect treatment. Unless you are over 50 they will just tell you you are to young to feel that way. They will tell you, you have one thing then turn around and say you don't. They can't seem to get on the same page within their own office. Caldroney is the worst. All this is just my opinion and experience. You should find somebody else if you are ill. These people will not help you! They charge for doing nothing!... more
