About Cameron

Cameron is a city located in and the parish seat of Cameron Parish, Louisiana. It is part of the Lake Charles Metro Area. The city is located along the Creole Nature Trail which is one of the National Scenic Byways. The city also hosts the annual Louisiana Fur and Wildlife Festival. Students here attend the Cameron Parish Schools which includes the South Cameron High School as well as Cameron Elementary and Grand Lakes High School. Businesses located in the Cameron include Flood Control, Herbert Abstract Company Inc, Resource Transportation, Lee & Maries Beach Front Cabins, and Dore' Energy Group.
