About Eunice

Eunice is a part of the Acadia, Evangeline, and St. Landry Parishes metro area of Louisiana known for its chemical freight train explosion and Cajun music. Major attractions include the Eunice Depot Museum and the Cajun Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Each year in February or March there is Eunice Courir De Mardi Gras. Among the biggest companies in Eunice are Cleco Corporation and Waveland Corporation. The biggest schools here are Louisiana State University at Eunice and Eunice High School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Eunice is the Cajun Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Eunice Pharr Duson is the city’s founder. Famous residents of Eunice include Geno Delafose, Jay Young, Dale Sittig, Dennis McGee, and Marc Savoy.

I use a grinder with a masonry cut off wheel. It does get dusy so do the cutting outside. The advantage of using the grinder is that it enables us to make curved cuts and notched cuts. You can also use a circular saw, but it makes it harder to hold and cut, increasing the possibility of injury. You can also use a wet saw like the ones used for tile, but it takes more time and is more costly. They even make a jigsaw blade for masonry. Use your own judgement for the application.
