Many people consider it in poor taste to regift a gift. Is there ever a time where it's acceptable to do so?
Absolutely, especially if it a family heirloom or treasured item from one loved one to another. Grandparent to grandchild, parent to child, close friend to close friend.
If you know someone doesn't approve of re-gifting, don't do it with any gifts to them.
Just remember, one man's "trash" is another man's "treasure".
I guess you'd call it re-gifting of a sort. I often take parts of a gift and combine it with parts of other gifts and perhaps a new item, package attractively and Viola, a new gift!

I'm writing to state how disappointed I am in MId South. We the St. Mary B.C. church in Luling contracted with this company and thought that we could depend on them is supply our carpet and restore our pews. We gave them an 2,500 deposit and when it came time for Mr. Harkins to perform the task we hired him for, he could not produce our materials, and now we are having the most diffcialt time recouping our desposit refund. Mr. Harkings has diasppointed so sverely and shown how unprofessional hw is by constantly giving me the run around and hanging the phone up in my face. To all who seeks to do business with Mid South beware of Mr. Harkins. We are now in process of filing the necessary paper work to have the authories handle our desputed. I hated that this has to come to this, but since Hr. Hakins refused to be upfront he leaves me no other recourse.... more
