About Attleboro

Attleboro, in Bristol County and southeastern Massachusetts, is a suburb of Providence, Rhode Island. It was settled in 1634 by English immigrants. The city was once known for its jewelry industry. Local attractions include the Capron Park Zoo. L.G. Balfour Riverwalk, and many National Historic sites. Each year in the June there is the Expo for the Senses. Among the biggest companies in Attleboro are ABB, Inc. and Goyette Machine Associates. The biggest schools near here are Bristol Community College, Wheaton College, and Brown University.
