About Mendon

Mendon is a town in Worcester County of Massachusetts. It is situated in the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor. It is known for its history and native inhabitants, Nipmuc, which means "small pond place" or “people of the fresh waters”. Major attractions include the Mendon Twin Drive-In and Southwick's Zoo. The town hosts annual country fairs. Among the biggest companies in Mendon are Summit Home Builders & Remodeling, and Mendon Country Gift Barn Inc. The biggest schools here are Nipmuc Regional High School and Miscoe Hill School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Mendon is the historic walking tour of Mendon.
