About North Oxford

North Oxford is a census-designated area in Oxford, a town in the central region of Massachusetts. It is a part of Worcester County, and as of the 2000 census, its population is 5,899. One of the best places to visit when you are in North Oxford is the historic First Congregational Church, which was first established in the early nineteenth century. Local businesses include Pine Hill Woodcrafters and Conrad's Auto Sales. The biggest school is the Clara Barton School, an elementary school located in North Oxford and named after the famous humanitarian Clara Barton, founder of the American Red Cross, who was born in Oxford. All local junior high and high school students attend Oxford Middle School and Oxford High School, respectively.
