How can one replace the power button located on the front of a computer? What type of light bulb is used behind a computer power button? Thanks.

The light is actually an L.E.D. (Light Emitting Diode) which is a semi conductor which allows electriciry to flow in one direction only. When power is passed thru, the diode lights up. Depending on the amount of volts passing thru the led, the different colors it can emit. Other LED's are color defined by their housing.
Now as far as the button, well that's a bit hard to explain without knowing what model you have but most are snap in. Others are screwed in place. If you need to, you could use some apoxy to repair the faulty button interface.

Cheap Stay Has Hot and Cold Running Water
Reception Was Very Friendly. The place looks like a motel version of Beverly Hill Billy home. Clean Bedding, Clean Towels, Clean Carpet, everything else old and worn. Small portable space heater served as heat. I don't watch TV so I could care less if it worked or not. Original furnishings from the early 1950s. I'm just a single guy so I don't mind a little ruffing it. No roaches. If you were the King of Bangladesh this would be your Court. For $45 I would stay hear again.... more

Very expensive for extremely sloppy work. Was charged by the hour (for 10 hours) when the mechanic talked on the cell phone for over 5 hours. Work was garbage. Top it all off, the work was not done correctly. Chip was a real jerk about repairing the work. Should be ZERO stars...go ANYWHERE else but here.... more
