Turn white into stainless steel
How can a person paint white appliances stainless steel? Will the look be matte stainless or shiny?

Stainless steel is a metal surface on the appliance. I have never seen a paint come close to matching that surface texture/look. Even the pretend stainless appliances that the stores sell looks cheap and fake. At best, you may find a 'steel gray' that will have metallic look. But it just won't look right and will peel off very quickly (appliances are designed to repel coatings/soil!).
You're better off to contact the manufacturer of your appliance and see if they have replacement inserts for the faces of your unit.

Good, Quality Work at a Good Price
John of Fortuna is a very qualified builder who takes the time to explain all aspects of the job, and then followed thru by being on time every work day, cleaned up after every work day and worked with us as things came up that were or were'nt necessary to do. My wife and I are completely satisfied with all new windows, an oversized patio door and new vinylsiding on the front of our house. A 12K project that John started on time and completed on time. His work speaks for itself. I will be using Fortuna again.... more

Dress destroyed
My daughter dropped off her silk dress (cost $180) to be dry cleaned. No beads, no sequins. They called to let her know they had ruined the dress. It was just a sloppy mistake. They left stains all over it. They offered her coupons to cover future cleaning. She told them she needed to be reimbursed so she could replace the dress They decided to give her a whopping $36. We've been customers for at least 20 years. We will be going elsewhere in the future.... more

A Honest Contractor!
I had John remodel a crumbling "sunroom" and turn it into a laundry room. He then added a breezeway/mudroom that attaches to a garage. When John first started working on house, it was determined that the sunroom had to come completely down due to shoddy building by the previous owners. Once that was down he observed that the foundation needed to be fixed. He easily could have overlooked the issue and just built the addition but because he is so completely thorough he addressed the issue step by step and kept me up to speed with what he was doing. I absolutely love the work John does. I don't even consider using anyone else on my house. Why would I? I have found a honest, hardworking, dedicated and thorough contractor. Kitchen Remodel
John recently completed a kitchen remodel job for us. This included replacing counter, sink and all appliances. New wood floors and tile backsplash were also installed. Choosing the materials was the biggest challenge, but we made great progress using the ProSource group that John sent us to. The actual installation only took about a week.
