About Adrian

Adrian is the county seat of Lenawee County, Michigan. Adrian is often called the "Maple City" because of its abundance of maple trees. The maple is the high school mascot and is used in the names and signs of many businesses in town. Some major businesses in Adrian include Wal-Mart and Gus Harrison Correctional Facility. Adrian has three colleges: Adrian College, Siena Heights University, and Jackson Community College. Famous residents include inventor Thomas Edison and bass player Matt Noveskey.
