About Atlantic Mine

Atlantic Mine is an unincorporated community about 5 miles southwest of Houghton in Adam township in Houghton County Michigan. Major attractions include Copper Range Historical Museum and R V Park. Each year in the summer season there are underground mine tours given at nearby Quincy Mine. Among the biggest companies in Atlantic Mine are Dan's Polaris and Manderfield Phe Inc. The biggest schools here are Jeffers High School and E. B. Holman Elementary School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Atlantic Mine is Isle Royal National Park.
