About Battle Creek

Battle Creek is located in Northwest Calhoun county along the Kalamazoo and Battle Creek Rivers between Detroit and Chicago. Battle Creek is also known as the Cereal City. The most famous breakfast cereal in the world, Kelloggs has its head quarters here. The Kellogg family has given an important place to this city in the famous cities of the world. The city also houses the famous International Food Protection Training Istitute in US. The tallest building in the city is the Battle Creek Federal Center. Famous fun spots are Flash flood water park and Linear Park. Linear park has walking, jogging trails and spots for fishing at the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo River. At Flash flood fun never ends with a number of fun rides. Pennfield Senior High School, Wattles Park elementary School, Lakeview High School are some of the famous schools here. There is a lot of wood area to be explored.Tartan day is celeberated religiously every year. Its a city that offers everything.
