Bellaire is a village in Michigan and is the county seat of Antrim County. It is known for its town having a scenic main street and is a popular location for tourism. Bellaire was formerly called Keno in 1879, and was changed to Bellaire in 1880. The village was also a major railroad center. Major attractions include Chain O Lakes Campground, and Bellaire Area Historical Society. Each year in August is the Rubber Ducky Festival which hosts a car show, rock concert and arts & crafts show. Among the biggest companies in Bellaire are Traverse Bay Farms, and Fruit Advantage. The school system here is Bellaire Public Schools. One of the best places to visit when you are in Bellaire is the Grass River Natural Area which is a nature preserve with plant and animal habitats.
