A father must first petition for custody. different states have different laws. Generally, Courts are not supposed to favor mothers over fathers. However, decades of preference for mothers are hard to overcome.

Negative Feedback Retraction
This is in response to negative feedback left on September 2, 2011 regarding Pat McKnight and Ball’s Home Improvement (formerly Balls Remodeling). Since my posting I was able to discuss the issue with Pat. He came out to my home in a timely manner, assessed my concerns, and resolved the issue. The work has been completed and I am very satisfied with the outcome. The work not only included modifications to the original installation, but also a correction to work that was done by another company at NO CHARGE. Pat was very concerned by the negative feedback and we had the opportunity to discuss the matter in great detail. My complaint should have been directed to Sarah Ball (Owner) and not Pat McKnight (Salesperson). My comments were made out of frustration feeling there was no other recourse. Pat takes great pride in his reputation and is a man of integrity. Open and honest communication is the key and I’m glad Pat and I had the chance to work this matter out.... more

Pathetic Service
Company has disconnected main line and never came back to repair outstanding issues as promised. Pat McKnight is a glib liar whose word means nothing and never scheduled service call as planned. Hopefully their company has gone under so they cannot screw any other people out of their hard earned money, Will need to hire another company to repair or replace poor workmanship on downspouts and gutter helmet warranty worthless since they never return calls after getting money.... more
