The greeting card buisness has been somewhat affected by the do-it-yourself cards. Computer generated cards are easy to make but you usually can't use a nice thick quality paper in a regular ink jet printer. To get that store bought look you have put extra effort into making the card, you just can't print and send.

It all depends on the owners of the apartment complex and their rental criteria. Some owners have very strict criteria while others will accept applications with a low credit score as long as the applicant can demonstrate a good rental history and verify their income.
