About Champlin
Champlin is a part of the South Eastern region of Minnesota, on the West bank of the Mississippi river, governed by the Hennepin County . The city has many vintage historic homes and landmarks. Major attractions include Andrews Park and the Mississippi Point park. Each year in the second weekend in June, a 3-day Father Hennepin festival is celebrated to recognize the history of Champlin. The biggest schools here are Champlin Elementary School and Champlin Park High School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Champlin is the Mississippi river, which is approximately one-eighth of a mile wide throughout Champlin.
