About Duluth

Duluth is a metro area on the North Shore of Minnesota known for its shipping industry and outdoor recreation. Major attractions include fishing and picnicking on Lake Superior, Fon-du-Luth Casino and shopping and restaurants downtown. Each year, Duluth hosts the "Grandma's Marathon" in the summer, which runs along the north shore. The Minnesota Fireplace folks are essentially correct, but it's a bit of an oversimplification.

Finding the right gas logs for your application is the first trick, and not something to leave to the online specialists. Find a local hearth specialty shop to talk about your situation.

Running gas line and installing logs are something best left to professional. If you are a licensed HVAC contractor or journeyman plumber, you probably have the skill set to do the job, but you still have to READ and FOLLOW the instructions, which a growing number of professional are either unwilling or unable to do. ; )
