I can advise you on a limited basis as there are several factors involved in such a project. Our specialty is natural stone facing but I have been a mason all my life. Footings is the most important consideration in my mind. Your steps can only be as good as your footings. I tend to overbuild the foundation to assure no movement which can cause the steps to bust apart. I then would use block only for the side walls and pour concrete steps using rebar for strength. I purchased a set of 4 Cooper tires for $100.00 mounted & balanced. I put about 30,000 miles on before my blazer crapped out. i ended up giving the to a buddy who put them on his blazer. not sure how many miles he's got on them but i know it's quite a few. My experience with them was great & have recommended them to friends & family. A real $$$ saver when the wallet is thin!!!... more

The Best Burger on Earth
I live in Montréal, originally from Minneapolis, and am somewhat of a burger enthusiast. Just about anywhere I go, from the East to West coast, from China to Mexico, I need to try a local rendition of a burger. I can safely say that the Bacon and Bleu Cheese half-pounder at Half Moon Saloon is the best burger I've ever tasted. The bacon is more a British style rasher; quite thick and flavourful. The beef is especially great when cooked medium to allow a delightful melange of juices and bacon to spice up the bun. Finally, the bleu cheese is plentiful enough to not leave one lacking desire for a conventional cheeseburger, but certainly not enough to overpower the other ingredients at hand. If there's one word to be said about the Half Moon Saloon, it's authenticity. From the staff to the regulars to the pull tabs in the corner, this is a place trying to be nothing more than it is. A burger and a pint of Summit is one of the better Minnesota culinary experiences to be had.... more

A set of 4 all season tires, just broke in around maybe 15K..... mounted and balanced...... $150 BUCKS? Nothing else to say about Verndale Tire and Storage except that walking through their door, getting more than what I paid for, and back on the highway all in under 45 minutes creates lifetime customers.... more
