The entire staff is compassionate and efficient, but your animal cannot have a better caregiver than Dr. Doug. Knowledgeable and current in available options, personable and patient in educating owners and in tune with the animals condition and well being. Wonderful, gental and caring NVC team!
After having had bad experiences with the Mankato vets on the hill, in the past, I started taking them to NVC in Nicollet. I have been taking my cats to NVC for many years now. I have had no problems or concerns about the people at NVC. They are wonderful with my cats, kind, gentle and caring with them. They let me stay with my cats so I can comfort them throughout the check up and treatment. They also make sure to explain what they are doing, any issues my cat has and the best way to treat it to make them better. I will never take my cats to another Vet Clinic again.... more

Excellent service
I've been taking my dogs and cats to NVC for the last 13 years. The people have always been polite and concerned. One my first visit with a dog, Gayla met us at the door on her knees with biscuits. A previous vet had met us with a sedative for the dog and a muzzle. The dog always behaved well for NVC. They were especially gracious and caring when the dog had to be put to sleep. I have been impressed with the quality of care given my pets.... more

What do you want to know?
Schmidts meat market is the best of the best. Other then my friends it is the one thing I miss about Minnesota. The meat, sausage and Beef Jerky is the most flaverful tender there is. If you havent tried it I suggest you do so now. Bravo!... more

Professional Caring Understanding
I recently had to put a beloved furry friend to sleep due to illness. Dr Doug talked with me about options/concerns. He was amazing. It was my 1st time having to lay "my baby" to sleep and they were so compassionate there. The whole team at NVC was great. It was a rough time/day for me but having support and understanding really helped ease pain. I took my cats there for their routines/shots and always they did a great job. The prices are reasonable but the staff is what really makes the difference. Thank you NVC!... more
