About Northome

Northome is a city located in the southwestern corner of Koochiching County, Minnesota, United States. Northome is known as the "Heart of Big Bear Country". Major attraction includes North Municipal Park Campground. Among the biggest companies in Northome are Ungerecht Logging Inc., Norstone Incorporated, Jungleland Greenhouse and Benders Camp. The biggest schools here are Northome Elementary School and Northome High School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Northome is Shooks State Wildlife Management Area. Famous persons from Northome include Tom Bonar, a City clerk.
