RT Temps Mistreats and Underpays Employees
RTTEMPS is a terrible company to work for. I devoted 3 years of my life to the company and made them a lot of money. In return, I got nothing but diminished self-worth and a broken spirit. PAY: In the interview, I was led to believe that I could make at least $80,000/year if a worked hard and put time into the job. That might have been true at other staffing companies, but no traveler wanted take an assignment with RTTEMPS because their pay rates are the lowest in the industry, the benefits are horrible, and the housing they provide for the traveler is disgusting. When I did make a placement, I had to wait months to get paid my commission. I also had to closely review my paycheck because my commissions were often paid to other employees at management's discrention without proper explanation. RESPECT: That word does not exsist at RTTEMPS. Employees are treated poorly and are continuously degraded. Nothing is ever good enough by management standards.... more

RT Temps Is The Worst Healthcare Staffing Company In the Nation
With unemployment at an all time high, RTTEMPS is getting away with very questionable behavior these days. They know you need them more than they need you. All they have to do is fire you and there will be a long line of people waiting to fill your spot. I have done some research and found some ways to combat this behavior. Usually you can't hire a lawyer because those blood suckers will not even talk to you unless you are looking at a high 5 figures. Let's face it, most employment complaints only involve a few hundred dollars so what can you do? 1. File a complaint with your state labor board. This is usually the first action you should take. 2. If a monetary amount is involved you can take your employer to small claims court. Most states require the amount to be less than $5,000 and charge a small fee to file a claim. Make sure you do step one first, most states will allow you to file a small claims suit after you get nowhere with the labor board but do not allow... more

Great Company
The job market has been tough for everyone this past year including nurses and it's great to know that RT Temps is out there because they focus their attention on trying to get you placed and do everything they can to achieve that goal. They are attentive and do more that just take your information and "put you in the pool" like a lot of recruiters. It's well worth taking the time to let them see if they can help because these days help like theirs is hard to find.... more
