About Rochester
Rochester is a part of the Olmsted County of Minnesota and is best known as the home of Mayo Clinic. Copper will patina over time. Green near salt air, penny brown in more arid climates and I have even seen red next to chlorine pools!
This does not harm the fixture if it is solid copper (not copper plated).
Aluminum fixtures corrode away over time.
