Flat Nasty Off Road Park
No other place on earth could you have this much fun for so little money. Wheeling, camping, the great outdoors, time with terrific friends. The people there are not just owners (Their Family). They make you feel welcomed and appreciated. I recommend this off road park to anyone who wants to just get away, watch people defy gravity, or eventually build your own rig to travel the trails yourself. two of my friends, my daughter and I went there for the first time. The home was clean and completely furnished, to include CD player. The owners are very friendly and accomodating. We would recommend to everyone and plan on going back.... more

Great place for low price. Comfortable trailers with all the ammentities includeing window A/C units individual BBQ grills. Have stayed there numerous times for float trips and have always been very pleased. Only about 10 minutes from the beautiful clear water of the Currant River. Great canoe rental right across the street at Jadwin Canoe rentals... more

Whispering Pines Trail Ride
Good for the most part
The campground is nice for the most part. Most of the sites are shaded and they have small trees growing in the not-so-shady spots. The stalls are o.k. They use lime-rock fines that is about the size of sand. It gets packed into the horses feet really bad and becomes almost like concrete. They also do not have enough electric or water hook ups for big hoilday weekends. We were parked next to my parents and we could only run our a/c on low and had to turn it off to run the microwave. The water was ran from a faucet about 75 feet from the trailers and shaired with 4 trailers and to run water for horses. Water pressure was low. On the up side, the campgound is clean and the trails were very nice. Easy enough for kids and mostly in the shade.... more
