Ozark Outdoors Riverfront Resort
Setting The Record Straight
I have been a customer of Ozark Outdoors for 15 years and have gotten to personally know Robert Bass and his top staff including Ray. I have witnessed issues over the years and Mr. Bass absolutely has no latitude for inappropriate behavior at his facility. Customer are not, if you display bad behavior and do not abide by the reasonable rules and policies of Ozark Outdoors Mr. Bass will ask you the first time to get the behavior inline, provided that whatever the infraction is not over the top. But, if the behavior is innappropriate to family values your asked to leave and that demand is enforced. I have personally rode with Mr. Bass and when he needs to intervene in a issue he does so with fairness, tact and diplomacy. He knows how to read the situation and acts accordingly. So, in my opinion the author of the Spineless Jellyfish review is not telling the whole story. Ozark Outdoors Riverfront Resort is an awesome campground with many great amenities.... more

Owner is a Spineless Jellyfish
Facilities are great, most people there were nice, rivers awesome! Some people on the river decide to start trouble w/me take my shoes throw them, call names and then they even get out of their canoes on the beach and assault me - the owner Bear Bass, does nothing. I gave him canoe numbers - does nothing to help, absolutely nothing - will never go back to his establishment again and suggest no one else does either!... more

VERY FUN PLACE TO GO!!!!!!!!!
My companion every year go back here because we know it will be well worth the trip. The employees are freindly and the owner also polite and really cares about if your enjoying yourself at the resort.This place offers everything in a get away.The camp grounds are very clean.Sinks for you to use also showers,bathrooms,and what would we do without the country store there. We did bring our own kayakes and took the float which the owner suggested HUZZAH VALLEY TO SCOTIA. A must do!!! They float with the bluffs,shaded spots, nice spring,and a little tricky to float,but we enjoy this place we return every year. Its because its worth your time! THANKS ALOT OZARK OUT DOORS (BEAR) yYOU HAVE MADE THIS OUR VACATION MINI SPOTS FOR YAERS TO COME.... more

Ozark Outdoors review
During our float trip the 8 man raft deflated. Considering that this raft costed $33 dollars a person, we were pretty upset. We barely made it to the end of the float with any air in the raft. When we complained to the owner he verbally assualted us and would not even speak to the females in our group. He was aggresive, condescending, and unprofessional in every way. When he was left alone to speak to a male of our group he finally agreed to a partial credit. We thought every thing was resolved and we were going to move on from his attitude, but he wouldn't let things go. The next morning he came up to a single female member of our group and started to verbally abuse her. When another person joined her, he was so aggressive we thought he would hit her. I will never return to this place again the owner is psychotic. He has a problem with females and is unable to handle conflict.... more
