About Rogersville

Named for a physician who offered to donate $50 if his name would be used for the settlement, Rogersville is a small town in southern half of the state of Missouri. When route 60 was paved through the town center, the city became a class four city, but the name does not seem to accurately describe its small population of about 1500 people. Each year Rogersville plays host to a Garage Sale Season where much of the community participates as well as a fantastic celebration for Independence Day on July 4th. Rogersville is landlocked with not that much water around, but it is a perfect place for dirt biking and hiking as it is at the foot of the Ozark Mountains. One of the best places to go is Summer Breezes which offers refreshing ice cream in the warm summers. It is only 45 minutes to an International Airport and is serviced by an excellent transportation system. Rogersville has a public school system in place and during the economic depressions remains consistent with business endeavors and continually boasts that its residents live 10% the national cost of living.
