Teach your pet to touch your hand with his nose on cue. Simply hold your flat palm near his nose; most dogs will sniff or touch their noses to the hand. When he does, say "Yes!" and give a little treat. Once the dog will do this regularly when a hand is presented to him, add a cue just before the hand is extended. The cue could be something like "Say hello!" or "Make friends".

Practice this with everyone you can so the dog learns that this works with everyone he meets. It's easy to keep a jar of treats handy to use when guests or clients arrive.

Once the dog finds out this behavior "pays off" better than crotch-sniffing, the unwanted behavior will go away.

You could teach "sit" or "lie down", but dogs do like to investigate visitors, and this behavior will be accepted much more readily!

The business should consider an accountant or CPA initially before actually needing a financial attorney, unless there was a need for litigation or maybe problems with the IRS that would require an attorney's expertise.
