Holly Bluff is an unincorporated community in western Mississippi. It is located in Yazoo County. The Sharbrough family founded it in 1877, after their family lost most of their possessions during the Civil War. After that, it was then known as Sharbrough's Landing. The family eventually agreed to change the name to Holly Bluff. Yazoo County public schools include Yazoo County High School and Yazoo County Junior High School.
