Osyka is a small town in southwestern Mississippi. It is part of Pike County. The 2000 census listed Osyka's population as 481 residents. It is located on U.S. Highway 51 at the junction with state Highway 584. Local businesses include Osyka Seafood Market and Nyla's Burger Basket. The nearest city is Magnolia, which is eight miles from Osyka. Osyka students in elementary school attend school locally at Osyka Elementary School. Older students attend school in Magnolia at schools including South Pike Junior High School and South Pike Senior High School.
