The town of Andrews, named for A.B. Andrews, a railroad promoter, is located in Cherokee County, North Carolina. Major attractions include shopping for antiques,clothing, furniture and gifts in Main Street and less than an hour away, the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad and. Each year the Appalachian Highland Games & Scottish Festival (Sept.), the Bluegrass to Blues Music Festival (June) and Chautauqua AVE (Oct.) are celebrated here.
