About Carolina Beach

Situated on the Atlantic Coast of Southeastern North Carolina, only 15 miles from Wilmington, Carolina Beach is a beautiful community in the state of North Carolina. Not only does it boast breathtaking ocean views, but it also sits on the shores of Cape Fear River. The community has been defined as that of a resort and is thus occupied most of the time by vacationers. However, its stable community has always been known for their kindheartedness and great hospitality. Carolina Beach generally has mild weather with hotter humid summers and warm winters. One of the best things to do in Carolina Beach is to, of course, visit the beach! Endless summer days are spent by the residents of this small community on the white sanded pristine beaches that Carolina Beach has to offer. Another thing to do would be to visit the Boardwalk that comes with arcades and delicious food from corndogs to crab cakes. There is also moonlight cruises offered in the marina that make an exceptional end to a fantastic day. The community does not have many employers except for small businesses that are in the business of clothing or food retail. There are many wonderful places to stay for a vacation however; Carolina Beach is not the typical place to settle for a permanent residence. They do not have a public school system and must combine with other communities for their education needs.
